SanDisk is a reputed name when it comes to digital gadgets. It is especially known for its Mp3 music players. The company has now come up with a new product which is quite uncanny for an Mp3 player. It is the SanDisk Sansa SlotRadio.
The SanDisk Sansa SlotRadio is a different type of Mp3 player. It is not like the other Mp3 players which have to be connected to a computer so that the users can download song into the player. The SanDisk Sansa SlotRadio comes with a microSD card with a total of 1,000 preloaded songs.
These songs have already been arranged in playlists. The playlists are; Alternative, Country, Contemporary, Rock, R&B/Hip-Hop, Chillout and Workout. The songs are performed by artistes like Akon, U2, Kanye West, Rihanna and many others. The tracks are both in Mp3 and WMA formats.
Apart from the preloaded tracks the SanDisk Sansa SlotRadio also has an integrated FM radio.
Design
The Sandisk Sansa SlotRadio is smart and is sturdy. The player is just 1.9 inches tall and is also 1.9 inches wide. It is also 0.6 inches thick.
The player is made of aluminum, and also has a built-in belt clip. It also has a small black-and-white screen that displays the name of the FM station, the current track and the next track as well as an animated graphic theme that actually matches the particular FM station.
The screen is flanked by two arrows that can be used to cycle through different FM stations. Also it has a FF key on the right edge which can help to skip tracks. Located on the left spine are the volume buttons. Also the bottom area of the player has a mini-USB charging port and a standard headphone jack.
Battery
The SanDisk Sansa SlotRadio comes with a rechargeable internal battery. The battery can be charged through the mini-USB charging point located at the bottom of the player. With a single full charge, the battery can work for a total of 13 hours.
Verdict
The SanDisk Sansa SlotRadio is actually uncanny but is perfect for people who would like to listen to some fantastic preloaded tracks. Also the sound is really good. So it is worth the money spent.
