The Lenovo ThinkPad T400s Review
Lenovo has launched the all new Lenovo ThinkPad T400s in its series of laptops. Laptops usually face the problem of durability; to avoid this problem the ThinkPad T400s has a strong processor in a strong body which makes it very durable.
Appearance
This thin and slim laptop is very sleek and trendy. It has a 14.1 inch screen with a width and depth of 13.2 X 9.4 respectively. It has a very discrete graphics display and its carbon fiber body makes it really durable.
Features of the Lenovo ThinkPad T400s
The Lenovo ThinkPad T400s has a 2.5GHz Core 2 duo P9600 processor, along with a Mobile Intel GM 45 Express Motherboard. It has a storage space of 128GB H.D.D. and a 2GB DDR2 800MHz RAM.
The screen lid is very thin and can be opened up to 180 Degrees vertically. The keyboard is very spacious and is comfortable while working. Some shortcut buttons are placed above the keyboard for quick and instant functions. The touchpad has also improved a lot from the past models and now offers a double touch scrolling.
The 14.1 inch screen offers a standard resolution of 1440 X 900. The screen has a sharpness which helps it to offer a better picture quality.
The speakers produce a clear and good sound without being loud. There also is a DVD+RW (DVD Burner) to write the data on a DVD.
A webcam with 2 inbuilt microphones are added above the screen. There also is a mic-mute button.
It has a VGA and Display output port. In addition it has 2 USB ports and 1 USB SATA combo port. Express card, Ethernet, WI-FI, Bluetooth, and optional WWAN are also included in the Lenovo ThinkPad T400s.
Battery
It has a 6 cells battery that gives a backup of 3 hrs and 38 min, for video playback. It offers a longer duration backup when the laptop is used for normal applications.
Warranty
Lenovo assures a 1 year warranty on parts and labor which can be exceeded up to 3 years for an additional cost.
Verdict
This laptop is very durable, is ideal for business work and to be taken on business trips. It is a complete business laptop.
