Appearance

HP Officejet 6000 has a matte beige and black color exterior, which blends effortlessly with office furniture. It has a fixed tray at the bottom to collect the output. The printer is 18.03 inches long and 15.31 inches wide with a depth of 6.45 inches.

Input-Output

A series of buttons along with LEDs help control the functions of the printer. While most printers can hold upto only 100 pages, Officejet 6000 can accommodate upto 250 plain pages at a time. This helps with copying or scanning of large stack of documents. Besides the fixed output tray at bottom, a removable output paper tray can also be attached for larger documents.

Cartridges

The cartridge bay has different slots for black, cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges. HP’s 920 series ink cartridges can be used with this printer. The extra-large version of cartridges can also be used with HP Officejet 6000 to cut down on average printing cost.

Performance

HP Officejet 6000 delivers exceptional speed and quality, at a very low cost. It prints both text and coloured images with unmatched clarity. The text print quality can almost match up to that of a laser printer. Officejet 6000 is capable of printing text documents at a remarkable speed of 7.38 pages per minute.

Living up to its brand name, HP’s Officejet 6000 prints clear and crisp colour graphic documents like PowerPoint presentations. Even the coloured photos printed by Officejet 6000 are very sharp and satisfying. It can print upto 3.54 coloured image documents per minute, which is quite incredible.

It can be safely said that HP Officejet 6000 can certainly help one achieve an excellent output even with a very low investment.
