Appearance

Epson Stylus NX515 has a sleek body with a carbon-weave pattern that covers its front panel. The black exterior of the printer allows it to blend easily with office furnishings. The front tray and rear paper loading tray are retractable and fit smoothly with the printer. This makes the printer sleek and easy to accommodate on an office desk. Stylus NX515 measures 11.7 inches long and 17.7 inches wide with a depth of 21.3 inches.

Besides a large 2.5-inch LCD, the control panel consists of a series of buttons. The control panel is very simple and easy to understand. The buttons serve various functions like Power, Scan, Copy, Memory card access, Menu, Display/crop, start and stop.

Input-Output

One can print directly from a digital camera or a memory card, as Epson Stylus NX515 provides a media card reader and a PictBridge compatible USB port. At the bottom of the printer, slots are provided for SD, XD, Memory Stick Pro and Compact Flash cards. This function certainly saves a lot of time and effort as one can print directly from external cards without using PC or laptop.

The Stylus NX515 printer can be connected to a PC via USB 2.0, Ethernet or Wi-Fi. All drivers required to install the printer are provided along on a driver disc.

Cartridges

The Stylus NX515 uses four different cartridges: black, cyan, magenta, and yellow, which make it very cost-effective. Epson has also made provision for high-capacity black and colour cartridges, which can easily be used with Stylus NX515.

Performance

Epson Stylus NX515 prints at lightning fast speed of 13.81 text pages per minute. Even the quality of print is quite exceptional. The coloured images and presentations printed with the Stylus NX515 are smooth and grain-free.
