The Canon Pixma MX330 Review

Appearance
The all-in-one Canon Pixma MX330 sports a mix of matte black and battleship gray exterior. The streamlined design allows every tray and port to fold in cleanly, thereby giving Pixma MX330 a sleek look. Surprisingly, at such an affordable price, Canon has provided a bright 1.8-inch LCD screen. It is used for navigation and controls and makes work very simple.
Input-Output
Unlike most all-in-one printers, Pixma MX330 includes an auto-document feeder. The auto-document feeder can accommodate upto 30 pages at a time, which makes copying or scanning stack of documents, easier. The input tray holds upto 100 pages while the output prints come out of the front drawer. Through the PictBridge USB port at the bottom, one can also directly connect a digital camera to the printer.
The scanner has a standard 8.5-inch-by-11-inch bay area. One can send a scanned document directly to PC as image (JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PDF) or as an e-mail attachment with the help of optical character recognition.
Cartridges
MX330 comes with only two ink cartridges: one for black and other for tricolors. This helps keep down the cost of utility.
Performance
At such an affordable price, Canon Pixma MX330 delivers to the best of expectations. It gives very good results in terms of quality and speed. Pixma MX330 prints colored text at a remarkable speed of 5.54 pages per minute.
The copier of Pixma MX330 can provide upto 99 copies at a time. By using the LCD, one can easily adjust the contrast and magnification of a file from 25 to 400 percent.
