Among the music phones available in the market at present, the Nokia Xpress music range of mobile phones has become quite popular. The company has now launched another wonderful phone in that range.

The Nokia 5800 Xpress Music with its sharp slim features and the wonderful touch screen has emerged as a favorite with the avid Nokia lovers as well as the common users.

Design

The Nokia 5800 Xpress music has a design similar to the Apple iPhone as well as the Samsung touch-screen phones. The phone has a shape that resembles a candy bar shape. It sports a black and burgundy color scheme.

The phone is just 4.37 inches tall and is only 2.04 inches wide with a 0.61 inch depth. It is really small phone when it comes to touch screen phones.

The phone has a 3.2 inches touch screen, which is as big as the iPhone screen. It has a 640×360 pixels resolution and it supports 16 million colors and has 16:9 aspect ratio.

The Nokia 5800 offers a text and multimedia messaging service, an alarm clock, a calculator, a currency and unit converter, a notepad, a speakerphone and a voice recorder.

The phone also has a Bluetooth application complete with a stereo profile, a file and application manager, a voice commands application, an application that syncs the phone with a PC to share music and photos. It also has a USB mass storage as well as a file manager application.

Music Player

The Nokia 5800 Xpress music has a music player which is as good as the other N-series phones. It has a bass booster, a stereo widening application as well as a total of five equalizer settings. The player also has a play list functionality complete with repeat and shuffle modes.

The Nokia 5800 also has a built in FM radio. It also offers support for the regular podcasts.

Camera
